CALUIRE-ET-CUIRE, a town of eastern France, in the department of Rhone, 21/2 m. N. by E. of Lyons by rail. Pop. (1906) 9255. It has manufactures of coarse earthenware and hard-ware, copper and bronze foundries and nursery-gardens.
