HUGHES. (Lieutenant, 1846.)

John Constantine Hughes passed his examination 5 June, 1833; was employed for some time, as Mate, in the Badger Revenue-cruizer, Lieut.-Commander Rich. Percival; obtained an appointment in the Coast Guard 8 June, 1842; and continued in that service until advanced to the rank of Lieutenant 3 July, 1846, He has since been on half-pay.
