Lie Yukou
(450 BCE – 375 BCE)

(列圄寇/列禦寇) is considered the author of the Taoist book Liezi, which uses his honorific name Liezi (列子; Lièzĭ; Lieh-tzu; "Master Lie"). According to tradition, Lie Yukou was born in the State of Zheng, near today's Zhengzhou, Henan Province, although there is little historical evidence of Lie Yukou as a Hundred Schools of Thought philosopher during the Warring States Period.
