West Gloucestershire since March 1885, educ. at Rugby and at St. John's College, Oxon, a student of Lincoln's Inn 22 July, 1861, called to the bar 1 May, 1865 (only surviving son of James Ackers, M.P., of Prinknash Park); born 6 Nov., 1839; married 24 Oct., 1861, Louisa Maria Jane, dau. of Charles Brooke Hunt, Esq., of Bowden Hall, co. Glouc., J.P., D.L., and has issue.
