Adams, Maxwell Richard Peers, statistical officer on staff of the director-general of telegraphs in India, etc., etc., a student of the Middle Temple 25 Jan., 1870, called to the bar 29 June, 1881 (eldest surviving son of General Henry Augustus Adams); born 15 Jan., 1849; married 3 Jan., 1881, Fanny Michell, youngest dau. of late William Gay, Esq., of Cheltenham and Falmouth.
