THE ST. GEORGE'S

KALENDAR Illustrated with Twelve Coloured Plates of the Arms of families of distinction, drawn in the Mediaeval Style, de- signed and arranged by OSWALD BARRON, F.S.A. His Majesty the King has signified his interest in this attempt at the popularization of Heraldry by ordering a supply of the St. George s Kalendar for his personal use. Price I J*, net. M,A.P, : The brightest bit of colour printing I have seen for some time are the admirably executed heraldic blazons which illustrate the St, George s Kalendar, ARMY AND NAVT GAZErTE : An attractive pro- duction which will please those interested in heraldry. WESTMINSTER GAZETTE : A delightflil little St. George's Kalendar for 1902. The dates noted are those of historical events, of saints, religious festivals and battles, but the principal feature is the introduction of a dozen heraldic emblems pertaining to historical English houses, boldly drawn and coloured. MANCHESTER COURIER : Useflil and artistic, in addi- tion to a well arranged Kalendar it gives the arms printed in colours of some of the most ancient houses of the nobility.
