who afterwards became the Surveyor-General of South Australia, where he was closely associated with Robert Gouger, took an active part in this Spanish Revolutionary War, and received the rank of Colonel. He was wounded for the first time in his distinguished military career, and the wound was a source of trouble to him for the rest of his life.
