[Post-Captain of 1822.]
Was made lieutenant, Oct. 10, 1809; promoted to the rank of commander, Oct. 19, 1814; appointed to the Icarus brig, of 10 guns, Sept. 6, 1821; removed to the Carnation 18, at Jamaica, May 6, 1822; and posted into the Tamar 26, on the same station, Nov. 25, 1822.
In Jan. 1829, this officer was nominated High Sheriff of the county Kerry, Ireland.
