This officer’s name appears in the list of those who receive pensions for wounds. He obtained his first commission on the 3d Dec. 1802; and was senior lieutenant of the Forth frigate. Captain Sir William Bolton, on the North Sea station, at the close of the war with France, in 1814. His advancement to the rank of commander took place Sept. 2d, 1828.
