RIGHT HON. LORD EDWARD O’BRYEN.
[Post-Captain of 1802.]

This officer is a brother of the Marquis of Thomond, and of Lord James O’Bryen, Captain R.N.[1] He obtained postrank April 29, 1802; and was Private Secretary to Lord Mulgrave, during that nobleman’s naval administration. His lordship has been three times married; viz. 1st, in 1805, to Diana, eldest daughter of General George Hotham, and niece of William Lord Hotham: 2dly, April 11, 1815, Gertrude Grace, youngest daughter of Paul Cobb Methuen, Esq., of Corsham House, co. Wilts, by whom he had two children: and, 3dly, April 16, 1822, Lady Elizabeth Somerset, second daughter of the Duke of Beaufort.
