THOMAS PITT ROBINSON, Esq.

Obtained his first commission in Mar. 1812; and subsequently served under Captains Robert Henderson and John Tailour, in the Tigris frigate and Tonnant 80[1], on the West India and Irish stations. He was advanced to his present rank on the 26th Aug. 1828; and has recently been appointed an inspecting commander of the coast guard.
