Was made lieutenant, Feb. 13, 1805, and commander, April 29, 1808; appointed to the Banterer sloop, June 9, 1810; and posted, Sept. 18, 1815. He married, in 1824, Marianne, eldest daughter of the late A. W. Gregory, of Glamorgan, Esq.
