Świeradów-Zdrój
Świeradów-Zdrój is a spa resort and minor skiing location in Lower Silesian Voivodship. The town is located on the foothils of Izera Mountains close to the Czech border.

By car
Voivodeship road 361 and 358 reach to the city. On road from Szklarska Poręba there is 180 degree turn known as death turn which is also scenic point. Road through Krobica is safer although less interesting. Ask your place of accommodation about parking spaces as these may be hard to come by and expensive.
By train
There is train station about half kilometer from town centre. You can reach town from Wrocław or Görlitz by Koleje Dolnośląskie

Ski
In 2008 a new skiing development opened. This includes a purpose built gondola system which will transport skiers in comfortable 8 person carriages. The slope is 2.5 km long at a very relaxed pace making it an ideal destination for beginners.
