Gold Coast Hinterland
The Gold Coast Hinterland is a rural area in the west of Gold Coast. It consists of mountain ranges covered in rainforests, most of which are national parks. For Wikivoyage purposes, Springbrook, Numinbah Valley and Tamborine Mountain are covered separately.

By car
Driving to any part of the hinterland is easy by car. Simply take the 99, 95, 90, 92 or 97 routes off the M1.
By public transport
The public tranport network west of the M1 is very sparse. The hourly 748 operates from 6:20AM to 5:20PM.

- 🌍 Willow Vale Recreational Trail.
- 🌍 Pages Pinnacle. A 6 km-return trail that takes you to a 400-m-tall volcanic plug. Great for experienced hikers and scramblers.
