Iriomote-Ishigaki National Park
Iriomote-Ishigaki National Park (西表石垣国立公園) is a national park in the Yaeyama Islands of Okinawa.

History
- April 1972: founded as Iriomote Governmental Park by the Government of the Ryukyu Islands.
- May 1972: Okinawa was returned to Japan and the park became Iriomote National Park.
- 2007:Ishigaki added.

- 🌍 Iriomote Wildlife Center (Iriomote Wildlife Conservation Center), Komi, Taketomi Town, ☏ +81 980-85-5581. Daily 10:00–16:00. A wildlife center dedicated to preserving and educating visitors about the Iriomote cat, which can only be found on island of Iriomote.
- Pinaisara Falls. The largest waterfall in Okinawa Prefecture.
