Probably Charlotte's best-known gallery, and one of the cornerstones of the arts district. Provides corporate art to numerous major corporations, and represents several dozen artists of significance. Go next
Go west on US-74 to get to Charlotte. Heading east will take you immediately to Monroe, and eventually the beaches near Wilmington.
For hiking, Kings and Crowders Mtns. are nice - only an hour away.
