Osage Beach
Osage Beach is a town in Missouri, on Lake of the Ozarks. It is known as "the heart of Lake of the Ozarks" due to how many popular activities it is home to.

History
Osage Beach was founded as Zebra in 1886, and was renamed to its current name in 1935, a few years after the creation of the lake.
Geography
The town is cut in half by the Grandglaize Arm of Lake of the Ozarks, with the two sides connected by the Grand Glaize Bridge.
Get in
By car
- From the northeast, U.S. Route 54 runs from Lake Ozark and Jefferson City.
- From the southwest, U.S. Route 54 runs from Camdenton and Linn Creek.
- From the east, Missouri Route 42 runs from Iberia and Brumley.
By boat
Osage Beach is on the Shawnee and Turkey Bends, as well as the Grandglaize Arm, of Lake of the Ozarks.
Get around
A car is necessary for getting around Osage Beach. Alternatively, you can rent a boat to visit waterfront establishments and travel by water to other parts of the lake.
