Siikajoki is a municipality in Western Oulu region, stretching from the Siikajoki church village (Siikajoen kirkonkylä) at the coast along Siikajoki river as far inland as Ruukki.

- 🌍 Siikajoki church (a bit north of Siikajoki village). Wooden grey-ish church from 1701, laid out like a cross. At the churchyard there's a memorial to the 1808 Battle of Siikajoki in the Finnish War (part of the Napoleonic Wars) where Swedish troops stopped the Russian advance.
